The Sourcing Lead will own the sourcing capability and work closely with the founders. He/she will be a key team member in our journey. Someone who is experienced in sourcing and wants to be a part of an early stage team will be ideal. This role will be based out of Bangalore and will involve travel.
Job Responsibilities
● Manage company’s overall sourcing strategy.
● Lead product development and 3rd party production.
● Build relationships with vendors and key suppliers.
● Negotiate pricing and control costs.
● Execute analyses and make suggestions for improvement.
● Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.
● Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
Requirements
● Previous working experience as a Sourcing Manager for at least 5 years with a men’s casual
shoe brand.
● International sourcing experience is a must.
● Outstanding negotiation abilities.
● Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
● Good time-management skills.
● Great communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
● Any Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
